Well it would bring the uncertainty to an end, so that's a good thing. Where we go from here is anyone's guess. We need another coach who understands the value of hard work in a contact sport. Personally I think it's a year too early for Jamie Langley to take over directly, that would feel like we're going for the easy rather than right option if we did it now.
Also a question of whether he could stay for 26 given the Perth wouldn't enter the comp till 27. Not sure how much leeway there would be, but a coach can't coach if he doesn't have any players. Perhaps an opportunity to extend for a year if homesickness and planning for the Perth job don't get in the way. Two very big ifs though.
