| That performance was a continuation of the last 20 mins vs castleford. Sloppy. For all the talk of ‘we need to learn lessons from that’ looks like we learnt nothing. That was as poor as a Catalans performance I have seen in a long time as well.
I like Brad Arthur and like what he has done to the defensive side of the team. My worry is that the attacking game plan is purely to try and beat the pack with hard running and effort. When we come up against a big pack that we clearly can’t dominate then we have no alternative.
We have a prop rotation that is built on graft and Lisone who can do two hard carries and then does nothing for the rest of his 10 minute stint. We have a spine that all have ability but more often drift in and out of games and are inconsistent. Our best half was Sinfield yesterday.
Gannon, ECW and Lumb are the players who come out with any credit.
Was it Agar who tried Handley as a centre for a while or was it BMac?

| A very frustrating 80 mins. Don't think anybody has mentioned the atrocious weather that goes a long way to explaining the errors and lack of general quality for both sides. While I can forgive some of the crisp packet passing I can't forgive the penalties we conceded when we finally had them coming off their own line in the 2nd half. Thought Jenkins carried the ball hard and straight and Gannon and the two wingers also did well. The rest, if selected, need to be much better next week. Can anybody tell me why when two me were carded over very little, they didn't even look at the tackle that resulted in Frawley's impression of Bambi?

| christopher: Trebor1: Can’t see us winning any of the next 3 games either… truly depressing
I actually think we’ll win 2 out of those 3 Not impossible. I can't see us beating wigan but saints look at bit iffy and are under some pressure. Wire are beatable too. But it's nailed on that we'll back up a couple of decent performances with the usual limp rubbish even if that does come about. Even Arthur is proving incapable of driving out the complacency that a couple of half decent showings brings out in this group.

| Not much to say on yesterday other than it was awful.
I don't think we should praise this team until they have managed to perform for more than five games consistently. It's the same old win one, lose one, which we have had for years for now.
If performances remain the same, then there has to be question marks with the coach too, along with a lot of the team.

| The problems are still apparent.
We need a 7 that can kick us around the park like Sinfield/ Dunnemann could and steady the ship.
We need a prop like Kylie/Peacock that can lead the pack by example and hold them to account.
We could do with Jenkins or Palasia in the backrow to add some power but we don't have the props to do that.
We need some tactics/ plays that actually get our centres/ wingers good ball with space.

| Defence was good, ball in had dreadful. The spine, and halves in particular, have been very disrupted. It's going to be difficult to build confidence with the upcoming run of games.
