Bit hard to know where to place this query so put it in here . At 18-09 Hull daily Mail was linked by the news now RL website with the headline 'Hull FC announce groundbreaking Australian Tour including matches against NRL Youth sides'. But by I got to read the article it had been removed anyone know anything. 

Got to be the academy surely?

Managed to give it a quick read before it got taken down.


It's a 3 week tour of Aus for the youth team. Thirkill and Hood are paying for the lads to go over. They'll be training at NRL facilities while they are over there.


Had quotes from Richard Tate so it'll all be legit, guessing Dan pulled the trigger a day early 

Good to hear and something we couldn't have afforded last season. Hopefully helps in attracting players to the club

Think that’s another indication into how big the buy in is by Thirkill & Hood and I don’t mean in financial terms. 


They believe in the club, the players, the staff, the fan base and the community as a whole. 


It’s things like this that show you it’s not just about the money/investment it’s the legacy and responsibility of being the custodians of the club that they certainly get and have immersed themselves in to. 


This would be a huge step and opportunity for the young lads to be a part of, credit to all involved if/when it comes off.
