| It seems utterly ridiculous by Friday next week we'll have played Wigan (and Catalan) 3 times, this will be our first against Leeds and we still won't have played saints
Key game of the season this, will be key for both teams to figure out where they are likely to finish.
Their spine is key and I'll still ever so slightly narked we never signed McDonnell after his loan period

| Imagine it will be Hughes in a straight swap for Tuitivake. Maybe Hodgson for Armstrong if there's an issue with his fitness.
Not sure we'll have enough for this one, away from home. The 30 min mark seems to be a dangerous time for us, with our interchange front row being nowhere near the level of the starters. That might improve a bit if O'Neill can do the full 80 at second row though.

| Part - 1 The mind boggles. What are we doing here? It's like the wild wild west. Why leave Armstrong on for so long? Just put O'Brien at FB & put McNamara in the halves. Part - 2 Well, WTF was that? Who is our defence coach??? A lot of work to do. Anyway, it looks like Hodgson might get a game next week. I don't get this love in with Lammy, and McIntosh. how he keeps getting on before Charnley & Hodgson is really baffling. Some serious recruitment is required if we're to trouble a trophy. Now confirmed that McIntosh & Armstrong will be out for a couple of weeks through injury.

| If we are to challenge for trophies, we need a stronger bench, because Davis and Hughes aren’t really at that level as props. I’d probably include Tuitivake in that as well. We need players like Brown and Rothwell to step up next year, or even recall them now.
And we need one or two players in the spine with a better rugby IQ. Lam prolific with the assists, but he is not a game manager, and twice he went for a short side play on the last, while the winger that side was injured.
I think we’ll soon find our level, competing with Wakey, Hull and Saints for a spot in the 6. Need a prop and a stand off/organising 13 bringing in if we’re to challenge even for a home play off this year.
Based on quotes I’ve read from Lam after the game, think Charnley will still be gone, and Towse will be playing next week

Well if charnley doesn’t start Friday he has clearly upset someone, experience if nothing else gives him a spot surely

| I would've thought he would start on Friday, but some of the responses by Lam post match didn't seem to suggest as much at the time. He was asked if he would now get a chance and responded with something like "maybe, we'll see"
It's since been reported that McIntosh might be out for longer than the two weeks originally estimated, so chances of a loan move for Charnley are now slim. But I would not be surprised if we see GoB at full back on Friday, with either Hodgson or Charnley on the wing, with the other on the bench. Particularly given Mulhern is a doubt, so if he's out, we won't have enough forwards left to avoid having a back on the bench.
